Los noruegos Pride & Fall en sus trabajos anteriores se han caracterizado por componer melodías pegadizas con bases bien contundentes, complementando con una voz que combina frialdad y melancolia.
En verdad la de Sgive es una voz especial, que logra siempre transmitir sentimientos.
In my Time of Dying es el nuevo disco de estos noruegos y felizmente continuan con sus premisas.
Es un disco que bucea soberbio por el buen camino del futurepop, aunque esta vez con algunos acertados elementos ebm.
The Painful Regret es una muy buena carta presentacion.
"Aqui estamos, nuevamente..."
De inmediato I Whiter se encarga de evidenciar que algo nuevo se esta gestando...
El instrumental The Black Gate es puro beat potente y continua Adored, track ya editado por Pride & Fall en una compilación.
Realmente Adored es una bella cancion y se merecia formar parte de un completo.
My Little recuerda mucho a Elements of Silence.
Promediando la mitad del recorrido, The Burning Faith se presenta como un descanso misterioso.
En cualquier caso es un buen atajo hacia Sacred and Profane, gran enganche hacia la pista de baile.
Blood y Free Me From My Demons prolongan la energia bien arriba.
Y es entonces cuando llega el tema que da nombre al disco, In My Tme of Dying.
Con esa base un tanto noisera y varios bpm por debajo, logra dar un cierre muy elegante.
Enfatizando cierta melancolia, pero tambien cierto sarcasmo...
Hay rumores de que Sgive Monsen se halla en un periodo de crisis personal.
Hay rumores de que quizas este sea su ultimo disco
Rumores, solo eso.
Por el momento acaban de editar un gran disco.
Es tiempo de disfrutarlo.
